VivaStyle is clinically proven to deliver up to 10 shades whiter teeth in 14 days of treatment. Patients can start to see shade change in as little as 4 days.

While it is important to have a clean surface when applying the gel, you generally should not brush your teeth about four hours before you start your teeth whitening treatment. Brushing sometimes results in abrasions to your gums, which can make them more sensitive to the whitening gel.

VivaStyle Whitening Gels are enamel safe.

Unfortunately, our formula whitens natural teeth only.

Although your VivaStyle Whitening product have passed the expiration date are still safe, we don’t recommend using them past their expiration date, as the whitening ingredient’s efficacy will be weakened.

HP has faster reaction times, thus allowing for shorter wear times. CP breaks down into HP and can be used to whiten for longer durations and has the equivalent of one-third HP concentration.  CP is more stable allowing for a longer shelf-life. It is also more diluted to reduce risks when used by non-dental professionals. HP has a higher risk of causing tooth sensitivity and gingival irritation. Both produce great whitening results.

It's generally recommended that professional whitening should be for those at least 18 years old. Some dentists have indicated it's acceptable to whiten after all adult teeth are in but no earlier than 14-16 years of age.

Shade shift will depend on a number of factors as every user is different. Clinically, starting points vary, and home compliance varies. Scientific Studies have been performed to demonstrate "Up to 10 shade shifts in 10 days" for the take-home VivaStyle Whitening Gel system. The other products have been proven to effectively whiten teeth as well.

Suggested re-treatment by dental professionals is as low as 3-months and as high as 12-months. We suggest every 6-months to maintain whitened teeth. However, every individual is different. Some require more frequency and others may be less.

In general, the whitening process includes bleaching agents that typically will result in dehydration of the teeth. It usually takes 2-7 days for the teeth to fully rehydrate. Dehydrated teeth can lead to tooth sensitivity.

Currently, this VivaStyle Affiliate Program is only available in the USA. At this time, there is not a defined timeline for launch in any other country.

We cannot recommend our gel to be used with aligners. This should be determined by the dental professional. Aligners have a tighter-fit than whitening trays which are designed for gel application and containment. Aligners could push more gel outside of the aligner, driving a less-than-desired result and potentially more side effects.

VivaStyle whitening products have been tested extensively by Ivoclar R&D and external test centers. Data is available on request. All studies conclude high performance of all VivaStyle products.

Yes, after using VivaStyle strips, you can brush gently.

Ensure that you follow recommended usage instructions on the packaging to get the optimal effect. If your teeth are significantly discolored, you may need to use 2 boxes of VivaStyle Strips initially to get the desired result. You can also try a VivaStyle Whitening System Kit, available from your dentist, that has been specially formulated for your teeth.

The white spots are temporary. These spots are not harmful and will go away. The white spots are caused by a loss of water from the tooth enamel. This water loss is not harmful and will restore itself.

As with any teeth whitening system that contains peroxide, teeth/gum sensitivity may temporarily develop when using VivaStyle Whitening Strips. Some people may experience tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort when using this or other whitening products. If significant tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort develops, try using the strips every other day. If the problem persists, discontinue use. Using a teeth whitening system on teeth that are already sensitive may increase the level of discomfort that you normally experience.

You're experiencing a natural reaction between your saliva and the whitening agent on our White strips. Saliva increases whenever you place an object of any kind in your mouth. As saliva increases, it also reacts with the whitening agent and together they make foam.

A whitening kit must be prescribed by your local dentist in order for customized trays to be made to fit your teeth.

1. Gently brush teeth with VivaStyle Activate for 2-3 minutes.
2. Apply 1/4 of the gel to the top and 1/4 to the bottom of your mouth trays
3. Put it in your mouth and ensure the trays are snug against your teeth
4. Keep trays in for 30-60 mins*–do not eat or drink liquids during this time!
5. Remove trays and rinse mouth out with warm water
6. Clean your trays with warm water only.
7. Apply VivaStyle Condition to top and bottom of tray.
8. Put the trays in your mouth and ensure the trays are snug against your teeth
9. Keep trays in for 5-10 mins to ensure no post-whitening sensitivity.
10. Remove trays and rinse with warm water.
11. Enjoy your VivaStyle Smile!

There is enough whitening gel included for the 10 day treatment plan.

The ideal places to store your VivaStyle products is in a cool dry place like a bathroom cabinet or drawer. Try to avoid direct sunlight or heated areas.

• Activate – is a toothpaste that cleans the teeth and optimizes the whitening gel's performance.
• Syringes – Carbamide Peroxide gels are enamel safe. Sodium Fluoride and Potassium Nitrate are also key ingredients in the gel.
• Conditioner – Hydroxyapatite and Potassium Nitrate are the key ingredients in this gel aimed at minimizing potential post-treatment side effects.

Please note: The activator paste should not be rinsed with water after to retain benefits of use. Also, after the trays have been used to whiten, they should be rinsed with water and then the Conditioner gel is applied in the trays directly for a wear time of 5-10 minutes.

The two most common side-effects of whitening are: sensitivity and potential for gingival irritation. Following our IFUs will give the lowest potential for undesired side-effects.

The Activator paste is slightly more abrasive than most toothpastes and is effective at removing surface stains. However, brushing your teeth with Activate every day is not recommended. The Activator paste has a Relative Dental Abrasion (RDA) rating of about 150. The RDA rating is comparable to some top brand whitening toothpastes and lower than top brand tartar control toothpastes.

We want to ensure a patient is able to get the whiter shades they desire without the risk of post-op sensitivity that can come from whitening.

We cannot recommend this option of mixing and matching components from different systems as those combinations have not been reviewed for performance.
